Summer's Toll

Rolling hills over meadows wide,
Taking their toll on spectators eyes.
Weather playing at their heads,
Children playing at their feet.
A single tree stands alone,
A single nest amongst its leaves.
As visitors sit and play,
The hills and tree sleep away.
