I am walking in her footsteps Mother

I am walking in her footsteps, she's what I want to be.
I've loved her with all my heart and this is what I see.
A person who is caring, and a person who is sweet.
A person I want to be like and never has been weak.
She's one who's a survivor, and has been through all the worst.
I've ran to her for comfort, for she's known my troubles first.
My Mother truly is my best friend, who I keep nothing from,
She knows all my greatest secrets, and where I'm coming from.
So when you look at your Mother with ugliness and hate,
Remember this, she's someone, who really is quite great.
